The Plan to put Liberty First

Fellow Patriots, on Sunday, November 8th, 2009, more than 10,000 liberty minded activists opened our email and call for action. I replied with an explanation of our intent to tackle this problem head on, and we've drawn up what we believe is the logical next step for the movement.

Let me explain...

The movement has accomplished magnificent success this year. Many new organizations exist because of the movement we've all built, and had it not been for the entire effort, dangerous healthcare legislation would have already gone through the Senate. This likely would have happened in July of 2009.

But we stopped it. We organized groups to attend townhalls, we held recess rallies, we lobbied our friends and family to get involved, we wrote, called, faxed and emailed our representatives... we worked our tails off as a unified effort.

That said, there is a very harsh reality we must now face. The majority of our government refuses to put Liberty First. They cast dangerous votes, and then try and make excuses for how they look out for their districts.

These politicians are missing the point. Our anger with their votes has more to do with the failure to protect our inherent rights and liberties as Americans, and less to do with what seems right for a group of Americans in need.

Those elected to Congress took an oath to protect and defend our Constitution. Clearly, through the recent vote on dangerous healthcare legislation, many of these people violated this oath. We believe this makes them guilty of violating their feduciary responsibilities to the people.

You have the power to remove these thugs from office. With your help, Liberty First PAC can help replace them with American Patriots.

The plan for the movement in 2010 should be very simple. It's a two fold effort that will require mass involvement. You'll need to involve your friends, your family, your network, your school, your church, your club, your groups... everyone you know.

1) We must identify and support true patriot candidates who will pledge to put Liberty First, and we must heavily endorse/promote their campaigns against any and all incumbents who supported Pelosi's healthcare legislation.

2) We must expose every corrupt, power hungry thug in Congress. We're going to have to unify and vote out every single incumbent who favors massive government intervention and out of control spending.

Liberty First PAC intends on building a national media campaign to expose the flaws of our government. We plan to do intense research, study new candidates for office across the country, and work to help these candidates get elected.

It's our pledge to you that we will never support an incumbent. Our goal is to remove incumbents who support dangerous legislation, not help them stay in power.

2009 has been a Historic year for us. The movement has done great things for this country. But, fellow patriots, it's time to put down the protest signs and pick up the campaign signs.

And yes... it really is that simple.
